Team -> Louis Masiye

Louis Masiye is a senior disease control and surveillance assistant with over 27 years of experience in preventive health. Based at the Zomba District Health Office, he works in disease control, surveillance, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), health promotion, immunisation, nutrition, tuberculosis control, and outbreak management. Louis holds a certificate in S/DCSA and has completed extensive professional development training. He has provided leadership and technical guidance to health surveillance assistants (HSAs) nationwide and contributed to reforms in HSA programmes, including the rollout of the one-year certification to support career progression. Louis serves on the MEHA Executive Committee as President of HSAs in Malawi, where he continues to champion the profession.
