Team -> Yusuf Mtila

Yusuf Mtila is an Epidemiologist working with the Ministry of Health, Department of HIV and Aids (DHA) as Strategic Information specialist (secondment) on Kuunika Data for Action program funded by Bill and Melinda Gates via Luke International Norway (LIN) . He has served in MEHA Executive leadership since June 2019.He  holds Master of Science  in Epidemiology and Bsc in Environmental Health from the University of Malawi.

Yusuf is quite versed with skills on setting up and maintaining institutional and project specific M&E frameworks. He also possesses skills in designing research studies, Baseline and Impact evaluations for Health Programs, Data Analysis, Systematic reviews and Meta-analysis, Leadership and Team management skills just to name a few. Prior to working at DHA, he worked with Malawi Aids and Counselling Resource Organization (MACRO) for 4 years ,Community Initiative for Self Reliance (CISER) for 3 years  and the Ministry of Health, Mangochi District health Office for 2 years.
