Save Kumwenda is an Associate Professor in Environmental Health at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). Save holds a PhD in Public Health majoring in Environmental Epidemiology, Master of Public Health majoring in Epidemiology, and BSc Environmental Health. He is the Head of Public and Environmental Health Sciences department and the Managing Editor for the Malawi Journal of Applied Sciences and Innovations (MJASI). Previously, Save has been involved in organizing the two MEHA conferences and in 2022 he was the chairperson of the scientific subcommittee of the MEHA conference and annual general meeting. As the current president of MEHA, Save would like to contribute towards making the profession vibrant and well aligned to assist in achieving Malawi Vision 2063 through creating healthy environment.
