Team -> Joseph Jangia

Joseph Jangia is a Technical Advisor for COVID-19 Response interventions at International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) in Malawi. He leads monitoring of COVID-19 Epidemiological trends and circulating SARs-CoV 2 Strains in Malawi through COVID-19 Data Management and Sentinel Surveillance in selected Health Facilities and Point of Entries to inform Public Health Policy decisions at national level. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from the University of Malawi, and other professional certifications (Project Management, Epidemiology, Leadership and Management, and Fundamentals of Global Health Research) from the University of Washington, Department of Global Health.

Prior to joining I-TECH, Joseph worked for several other international organizations such as CARE/Illovo, Management Sciences for Health and St Luke’s Hospital providing Leadership and Technical expertise in the implementation of Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programs.
